At Bun Mee, a quick‐service Vietnamese sandwich shop nestled into the Upper Fillmore, nine different modernized banh mis come ‘served with hot jalapeño pepper, unless you’re a sissy,’ and are accompanied on the menu by rice bowls, salads and housemade beverages including kaffir limeade, lychee aqua fresco and Vietnamese coffee; The small, stylish storefront is decorated with street food photography, chandeliers made from bicycle wheels and a zinc‐topped dining counter.
Bun Mee is proud to deliver Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches to Fillmore Street in San Francisco. Banh mi (pronounced bun mee) is the Vietnamese word for bread.
It is a crave-able sandwich combining French and Vietnamese influences, which is often served curbside by street vendors from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi amidst the urban blur of scooters, diners and passersby.

Our sandwiches are prepared to order using the freshest ingredients. Please note that our sandwiches come spicy so if you prefer mild, please let us know and we'll remove the jalapeno.
